“Cruizin” to the Museum

About the Event
Saturday, from 3:00 pm till dark at the Veteran’s Museum is hosting a Cruisin’. Open to all individual’s car and all car clubs. Each Cruzin’ will have music, a costume theme, prizes (raffles) and trophies. Donated items for charities will be accepted for a featured charity.
We are requestiong hospital response backpacks or gift cards for advocates to meet with victims.
Hospital response bags
A backpack with a water bottle, hygiene items, journal, pen, gas card or gift card to food or coffee (things that would be comforting for a victim of sexual assault) we take these with a change of clothes with us, because usually clothing is kept as evidence, these are very comforting to people.
Child assault bags
A bag or backpack for kids who are having to go through the formal interview process due to sexual assault and or physical abuse, or children who have actively had to flee. These are filled with 4 or 5 age-appropriate items from ages 2 to 17. It is amazing what this will do for a child who has experienced something so tragic.
